Description
We are looking for a dynamic IT Manager/Director to lead and oversee the technology operations of our organization in Northern, Virginia. This role is ideal for an experienced and detail-oriented individual who excels in managing IT infrastructure, ensuring efficient service delivery, and guiding technology teams to achieve organizational goals. The position requires a strategic mindset and the ability to foster collaboration across teams and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the management of IT infrastructure and daily operations to ensure smooth and secure functionality.
Provide leadership and direction to technology managers, fostering a culture of innovation and efficiency.
Ensure the timely and effective delivery of IT services and solutions that align with organizational priorities.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify technology needs and implement strategies to meet business objectives.
Drive the adoption of Agile and DevOps methodologies to enhance team productivity and project outcomes.
Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures to maintain system security and compliance.
Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to optimize technology investments.
Monitor and evaluate emerging technologies to recommend enhancements or upgrades to existing systems.
Lead disaster recovery planning and implement backup solutions to safeguard critical data.
Ensure effective communication across teams and departments to align IT initiatives with business goals.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
A minimum of 10 years of experience in technology leadership roles, with at least 15 years in IT overall.
Proven expertise in Agile and DevOps processes to drive project efficiency.
Strong ability to manage and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
Exceptional communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Hands-on experience with Active Directory, backup technologies, and configuration management.
Proficiency in working with Cisco technologies and computer hardware.
Demonstrated ability to lead large teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
