Responsibilities
The Work
The E RP Developer r eviews , analyzes, and modifies the programming systems including encoding, testing, and debugging to support an organization'sEnterprise Resource Planning(ERP) applications. Ensures that software can be completely integrated into theERPsystem. Coordinates software integration and maintains technicaldocumentation.
T his position performs all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the Mission, Vision, and Core Values of Cayuse.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and understand the business processes to create efficient ERP solutions
- Design, code, test and troubleshoot ERP software applications
- Modify and customize existing software to meet user requirements
- Integrate ERP software modules with other software systems
- Consult with colleagues and managers to improve ERP system efficiency
- Provide technical support for users of ERP systems
- Document software design and code for future reference and troubleshooting
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in ERP development
- Train end users on how to effectively use ERP systems
- Conduct system performance testing to ensure system reliability, capacity and scalability
- Keep up to date with the latest technologies and techniques in ERP development.
- Develop and maintain system documentation for future reference.
- Other duties as assigned .

- Level 1: 1-3 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment .
- Level 2: 4-7 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals . A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required . Works under limited supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment .
- Level 3: 8 or more years of experience, relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, independently performs a variety of complicated tasks; may lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
All Levels
- Experience in business systems analysis, process engineering, process/ organizational transformation and project management
- Possesses a broad understanding of IT and business skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex technical challenges.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.
Minimum Skills:
- Experience working with PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 Accounts Receivable and Billing modules.
- Excellent knowledge of at least one ERP software (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc ).
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, SQL, C++, Python, or similar languages, as well as knowledge in web services and APIs.
- Knowledge of SQL databases, and experience with data migration.
- Experience with Linux OS scripting
- Experience working with AWE
- Experience analyzing business requirements and creating technical design documents
- Experience with Microsoft O365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Visio)
- E xperience working with MS Teams in a large team setting.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate in a clear, professional, and articulate manner.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to develop and deliver compelling presentations.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with high-level attention to detail.
- Proven ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast past environment with changing priorities; adaptable to change and a quick learner.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work well independently as well as on a multi-functional team.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science , Information Systems, Business or related field.
- Experience working with a public sector organization (Federal, State, or Local Government)
- Experience working with the State of Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA) CAPPS Financials system
- Experience working with the Treasury Offset Program (TOP)
- Experience with SharePoint
- Experience with Jira
- Experience working with the Scrum framework
- Experience with STAT

Working Conditions
- Professional Hybrid office environment.
- Ability to work on-site in Austin, TX.
- Must be physically and mentally able to perform duties for extended periods of time.
- Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed to meet the demands of this position.
- Must be able to establish a productive and professional workspace.
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time looking at a computer screen .
