What You Will Be Doing

The Metric & Data Analyst serves as the organization's data translator, turning raw, often-disparate data sets into intuitive, interactive visualizations that drive decision-making.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Design, build, and maintain end-to-end Tableau solutions
- Define, track, and evolve key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Perform data-driven analysis
- Present findings in stakeholder-friendly formats
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration
- Identify actionable insights and improvement opportunities

The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience designing, building, and maintaining end-to-end Tableau solutions
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, Power Query, Power Pivot) and familiarity with advanced functions or VBA.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; capable of presenting complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to create clear, concise reports, dashboards, and visual stories that drive decision-making.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, marketing, operations, product, etc.) to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule.

Desired skills

- Relevant certifications (e.g., Tableau Desktop Specialist, Microsoft Power BI, Google Data Analytics, SAS Base, or Certified Analytics Professional) are a plus.
- 1-3 years of professional experience in data analysis, reporting, or a related role (internships or academic projects count).
- Self-starter with strong time-management and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Collaborative mindset and willingness to learn new technologies and methods.
- Prior Mechanical or Electrical quality engineering experience developing and reviewing quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for the inspection of manufactured and procured products.
- Able to interpret drawings and specifications to develop and apply quality test, inspection methods and work instructions.
- Demonstrated ability to use causal analysis tools.
- Experience in disposition of non-conforming products.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $67,000 - $117,990. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $77,000 - $133,400. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
