Sr. Workday Payroll Consultant

Senior Workday Payroll Consultant with strong hands-on experience in Workday Payroll Configuration, Payroll Taxes, and Time Tracking Configuration. This role will support HR Operations initiatives and work closely with business partners to gather requirements, configure solutions, and modernize HR processes within Workday.

Must Have:

ServiceNow for ticketing and requirements

Workday Payroll Configuration

Workday Payroll Taxes Configuration

Workday Time Tracking Configuration

Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into Workday configurations

Hands-on Workday configuration experience

Experience building and maintaining pay and earnings codes

Nice to Have:

Absence Module

HCM Core Data loaded for all employees

Benefits Configuration experience

Workday HR Operations experience

Experience working in Agile environments

Responsibilities:

Analyze, design, and implement Workday configuration changes for Payroll, Payroll Tax, Time Tracking, and Absence

Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for Payroll, Payroll Tax, Time Tracking, and Absence processes

Consult on evaluation, design, and analysis of Workday Payroll and Time Tracking solutions

Gather business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into functional specifications and configurations

Configure and maintain Payroll, Payroll Tax, and Time Tracking solutions within Workday

Build and maintain pay and earnings codes

Collaborate with HR Operations, Architects, BSAs, and business partners to support modernization initiatives

Identify process improvements and recommend best practices within Workday

Education:

• Relevant Workday functional experience preferred
• Workday certifications are a plus
