Project Manager
at Lansing , MI Hybrid
9 months contract possible for extension
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• 8+ years of experience as a Project Manager.
• 8+ years of experience managing projects with budgets greater than $20 million.
• 8+ years of experience managing IT projects within a large, complex enterprise
environment.
• 8+ years of experience managing vendors and/or third-party solution providers.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and organizational
skills.
• Experience leading multiple concurrent projects and driving work to successful
completion with minimal supervision.
• Experience handling variety of stakeholders and system/ business owners from other
departments.
• Experience managing multi-vendor environment in a government environment.
• Experience providing project management services for IT Projects involving Commercial
Off the Shelf Technology (COTS).
• Oversee technical teams with system architecture and integration across SaaS
solutions.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
• PMP (Project Management Professional) or other relevant project management
certification.
• Experience using project portfolio management systems and tools (eg. Clarity).
• Previous experience working within state government, the Department of Corrections, or
other public sector agencies.
• Local to Lansing, Michigan area (within 1 hour) is highly desired. Work will be Monday
and Tuesday in office; Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday can be remote (non-
negotiable).
