Summary
Kaiser Permanente is seeking an experienced Quality Management Consultant to lead and support enterprise-level quality assurance and automation testing initiatives for Pharmacy-related IT projects. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in automation frameworks, QA strategy, DevOps practices, and team leadership, along with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
The consultant will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and enhance quality management services while ensuring efficient, scalable, and cost-effective testing solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of Automation Test Engineers supporting Pharmacy IT projects
- Define and implement enterprise-wide Quality Management and Testing strategies
- Support delivery and expansion of Quality Management services for large-scale IT programs
- Design and oversee automation testing frameworks and QA infrastructure
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, DevOps teams, and leadership
- Customize testing methodologies to align with project requirements and organizational goals
- Ensure quality standards, test coverage, defect management, and release readiness
- Manage QA project timelines, reporting, and execution using Agile methodologies
- Utilize Jira for defect tracking, sprint planning, and workflow management
- Coordinate testing efforts across multiple teams and environments
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within QA processes and automation practices
Required Skills
Must Have
- 6+ years of Quality Assurance / Quality Management experience
- Strong experience with Selenium or similar Automation Testing Frameworks
- Hands-on experience with Jira
- Experience working in DevOps environments
- Strong leadership and project management skills
- Strategic and critical thinking related to quality management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience interacting with technical teams, business users, and executives
Preferred Skills
- Healthcare or Pharmacy domain experience
- Experience supporting enterprise IT programs
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation integration
