Technical Program Manager III – ERP Finance Transformation (NetSuite to SAP S/4HANA)

Role Overview
We are seeking a Sr. Staff Technical Program Manager to lead a large-scale, enterprise-wide ERP finance transformation, including migration from NetSuite to SAP S/4HANA.
This is a high-visibility role within the Transformation & PMO organization, partnering with Finance, IT, and executive leadership to modernize financial systems, strengthen controls, and build a scalable ERP backbone to support long-term growth.
This is a multi-year strategic initiative with direct exposure to VP and C-level stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
ERP Transformation Leadership
- Own and execute the end-to-end roadmap for NetSuite SAP S/4HANA migration
- Define program scope, sequencing, milestones, and success metrics
- Align ERP modernization strategy with finance and corporate growth objectives
Governance & PMO Structure
- Establish enterprise governance framework and steering committee cadence
- Lead integrated program planning across Finance, IT, Data, and Integration workstreams
- Manage RAID logs, dependency tracking, executive reporting, and portfolio visibility
- Drive predictable execution across internal teams and system integrators
Finance Process Transformation
- Partner with Finance leadership to modernize:
- Order-to-Cash (O2C)
- Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
- Record-to-Report (R2R)
- Revenue Recognition (ASC 606)
- Lead Chart of Accounts harmonization and financial data standardization
- Strengthen internal controls, audit readiness, and reporting accuracy
Data Migration & Cutover
- Oversee ERP data migration strategy (master data, open transactions, historical balances)
- Ensure integration architecture supports scalable operations
- Lead parallel close planning, cutover strategy, and post-go-live stabilization
Executive Stakeholder Management
- Provide concise, data-driven updates to VP+ leadership
- Drive alignment across cross-functional stakeholders in complex environments
- Lead change management and user adoption strategy
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years leading complex, enterprise-wide transformation programs
- Proven experience delivering large ERP migrations (NetSuite to SAP S/4HANA strongly preferred)
- Deep expertise in finance process transformation and ERP-enabled modernization
- Strong experience establishing governance models, PMO frameworks, and executive reporting structures
- Experience partnering directly with CFO, Finance VPs, and senior technology leaders
- Demonstrated ability to structure ambiguous initiatives and drive decision alignment
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP S/4HANA Finance experience (Universal Journal, New Asset Accounting, Revenue Accounting)
- SaaS or subscription-based business model experience
- SOX, compliance, and financial controls transformation exposure
