Technical Agile Coach

We are seeking a Technical Agile Coach with a strong software engineering background to coach and guide development teams in improving engineering practices, Agile delivery, and overall team performance. The ideal candidate is a former hands-on software developer, preferably with an object-oriented language, who has transitioned into a technical coaching or engineering leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Coach development teams on Agile principles and modern software engineering practices
• Mentor engineers and teams in TDD, automated testing, CI/CD, DevOps, and continuous improvement
• Facilitate collaboration and help teams improve delivery efficiency, quality, and technical practices
• Use delivery and engineering metrics to identify opportunities for improvement
• Partner with developers, technical leaders, and stakeholders to drive successful outcomes

Qualifications

• 4+ years leading or coaching development teams in an Agile environment
• Previous software engineering with an object oriented language
• Hands-on experience with TDD and automated testing using tools such as JUnit, TestNG, and Selenium is a Plus
• Experience with modern technologies such as Spring/Spring Boot, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and/or Azure
• Exceptional coaching, communication, collaboration, and facilitation skills

Ideal profile: A former software engineer who has successfully transitioned into a Technical Agile Coach, Engineering Coach, or similar role while maintaining strong technical credibility.
