Location: Reston, VA (Hybrid)
Job Type: Contract

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Lead Technical Analyst with strong hands-on Microsoft Access database assessment and analysis experience to evaluate existing database architecture and recommend a scalable, stable future-state solution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze complex MS Access databases, including tables, queries, forms, reports, linked tables, and performance issues.
  • Assess data extraction and integration from SAP/SAP Ariba, Oracle, and other enterprise systems.
  • Identify database limitations, storage constraints, stability risks, and potential business disruptions.
  • Evaluate replacement solutions, ensuring data integrity, security, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Develop current-state and future-state documentation, technical recommendations, and an implementation roadmap with timelines and dependencies.
  • Present findings and recommendations to business stakeholders and senior leadership.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of relevant technical analysis or systems experience.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Access database assessment.
  • Experience with SAP (SAP Ariba preferred), SQL, and Oracle or other enterprise applications.
  • Strong knowledge of database architecture, data structures, reporting, and data migration.
  • Excellent analytical, documentation, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.
