Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly detail-oriented Senior ERP Business Systems Analyst with a strong background in finance and accounting systems within a manufacturing environment. This position plays a key role in connecting Finance and IT, ensuring that enterprise applications effectively support financial operations, compliance requirements, and broader business objectives. The ideal candidate brings extensive knowledge of ERP platforms (preferably Expandable), system integrations, data analysis, and process optimization, along with proven experience leading system upgrades and implementations.

Essential Responsibilities & Functions

• Lead initiatives related to ERP and accounting system implementations, upgrades, and ongoing support.
• Act as the primary point of contact between IT and the Finance/Accounting teams to gather business requirements and convert them into technical system solutions.
• Evaluate existing processes and systems, identifying enhancements that improve reporting accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency.
• Prepare and maintain system documentation such as process maps, functional specifications, and end-user training materials.
• Ensure seamless integration between financial modules and other enterprise systems (e.g., production, inventory, purchasing).
• Oversee data integrity, reporting consistency, and provide support during month-end and year-end close cycles by resolving system-related issues.
• Partner with manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and other departments to understand end-to-end workflows and enhance system usability.
• Support internal and external audits concerning IT controls within financial systems.
• Mentor team members and offer technical direction to assist with their development.
• Work directly with business users to clarify concepts and collaborate under the direction of project managers when required.
• Manage multiple projects or assignments concurrently with professionalism and ease.
• Maintain confidentiality in accordance with organizational policies.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications for Success

Education & Experience

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in systems analysis or business systems support, preferably with ERP platforms such as Expandable, including hands-on involvement in ERP implementations.

Skills & Competencies

• Ability to independently execute project support tasks and administrative responsibilities; project management background preferred.
• Strong skills in data analysis tools and query languages (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server), and experience with Crystal Reports or SSRS.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex business processes and grasp both high-level concepts and detailed workflows.
• A systems thinker mindset with strong understanding of ERP functionality and configuration.
• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate business requirements to technical teams.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with a professional approach in working with stakeholders.
• Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality output.
