Genesis10 is currently seeking a Programmer/Analyst 6- Hybrid for a 3+ month contract position with a Global Manufacturing Company located in Ann Arbor, MI. We are seeking a seasoned SAP SD/MM Functional Consultant with strong hands-on configuration experience and deep knowledge of S/4HANA processes. The ideal candidate has experience across SD/MM, understands analytics requirements, and can independently work across configuration, testing, requirements gathering, and business engagement. This role supports multiple small projects, not a large SDLC implementation, and requires someone adaptable, hands-on, and business-facing.
Responsibilities: - Lead functional work across SAP SD/MM, including configuration, testing, and solution design
- Conduct business workshops, requirements gathering, blueprinting, and fit-gap analysis
- Support analytics/reporting projects using SAP and non-SAP data (functional responsibility only)
- Create and maintain functional specifications for SD, MM, analytics, and integrations
- Collaborate with business partners and guide them through solution options
- Work independently to manage incoming requests and small project deliverables
- Troubleshoot functional issues and coordinate with technical teams when needed
- Engage directly with US-based stakeholders; strong communication required
Requirements: - 10-15 years of combined SAP experience across SD and MM
- Minimum 5-7 years of recent US experience
- Proven hands-on configuration experience in SAP SD (Order-to-Cash, sales order management, delivery processing, intercompany invoicing)
- Proven hands-on configuration experience in SAP MM (Master data - Info Records, Source Lists; Procurement - PO, PR)
- Strong knowledge of SD-MM integration points (stock transport, intercompany flows, master data dependencies)
- Hands-on experience with an SAP S/4HANA implementation
- Understanding of Fiori apps, data model changes, and S/4 innovations relevant to SD/MM
- Experience delivering in environments with multiple small projects
- Ability to come onsite in Ann Arbor, MI 2-3 days per week
Desired skills: - Working knowledge of SAP CRM, including middleware interactions with SD
- Experience with interfaces such as EDI, B2B integrations, and 3rd party systems
- Ability to write functional specifications for integrations and analytics
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lead discussions and drive clarity with business teams
- Highly proactive and comfortable with ambiguity
