Finance Support

ApTask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Finance Support with a technology company. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity with our client located in Seattle, WA.

Summary:

This is a hands-on analytical role supporting the global operations of an employee benefit program spanning 16 countries. The successful candidate will support budget forecasting, reconcile spending, ensure data integrity, and help build scalable financial infrastructure and payment systems. This role requires strong Excel skills, comfort working with large datasets across multiple cost centers and currencies, and a mindset oriented toward automation and operational efficiency

Responsibilities:

• Support budget forecasting and reconcile actual spend against forecasted spend
• Ensure financial data integrity across a complex, multi-country program
• Contribute to building the scalable financial infrastructure and payment systems
• Build and maintain rolling budget forecasts, partnering with internal stakeholders to gather cost inputs and validate assumptions
• Perform period-end reconciliation of actuals against forecast, investigate root causes of variances, and recommend corrective actions
• Prepare and track accrual entries to ensure costs are recognized in the correct period
• Support the design and implementation of scalable systems and identify opportunities to automate reporting workflows
• Support global payment strategy, including VAT compliance and optimization of internal payment processes

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) or corporate finance
• Advanced Excel proficiency including financial modeling, pivot tables, and complex formulas

Desired skills:

• Experience with multi-country or multi-entity programs
• Experience with tax strategy, particularly in the context of employee benefits or global programs

Pay range: Up to $27.48 per Hour
