ROLE SUMMARY
We are looking for an AI Platform Engineer to build and operate the core AI capabilities. This role focuses on GenAI enablement, AI agents, platform services, and production grade infrastructure that power AI driven insights, dashboards, and workflows across multiple tenants.
This role is platform focused and includes hands on infrastructure and environment setup responsibilities.
Owns GenAI, agents, platform services, and infrastructure
Strong platform, infra, and governance focus
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
AI Platform & GenAI Enablement
Design and build GenAI platform capabilities such as conversational analytics and AI insights
Implement Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines using enterprise data
Build agentic AI workflows that support multi step reasoning and tool execution
Create reusable AI components such as prompt templates, retrieval services, and agent frameworks
Platform Engineering & Infrastructure
Build and operate AI workloads on Databricks (notebooks, workflows, jobs, SQL warehouses)
Design AI ready Gold and Platinum datasets and semantic layers
Configure secure access patterns (RBAC, row level and column level security)
Support multi tenant isolation for AI insights and agents
Contribute to infrastructure setup including:
CI/CD for AI and data workloads
Environment separation (Dev / Stage / Prod)
Productionization & Reliability
Productionize AI agents and GenAI services with versioning and rollback strategies
Implement observability, logging, and performance monitoring for AI workloads
Optimize cost, scalability, and performance of AI services
Governance & Responsible AI
Ensure AI solutions comply with healthcare data constraints (PII / PHI)
Implement guardrails to reduce hallucinations and enforce grounded responses
Support auditability, lineage, and traceability of AI outputs
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Core Skills
Strong Python and SQL
Hands on Databricks experience ( Preferred )
Experience building production AI systems (not just prototypes)
GenAI & Agentic AI
LLM integration and prompt engineering
RAG architectures (embeddings, retrieval, grounding)
Agent orchestration concepts (tool calling, multi step workflows)
Platform & Infrastructure
Databricks or cloud data platforms
CI/CD for data and AI workloads
Secure data access in regulated environments
