Job Description

We are seeking a strong and experienced Data SCE – Databricks professional to support data engineering and cloud architecture initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform data services, cloud architecture, Databricks, infrastructure automation, and managed Kafka, with the ability to work effectively across customer and partner teams.

Key Responsibilities

Data & Cloud Architecture

Design and support data solutions using Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
Work extensively with BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataplex, and Bigtable.
Develop and support scalable Google Cloud Platform data architecture and integration solutions.
Work with Databricks for data engineering, processing, and analytics initiatives.
Evaluate technical requirements and recommend appropriate cloud and data solutions.
Ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, secure, and aligned with technical requirements.

Data Engineering & Integration

Develop and support data pipelines using BigQuery and Dataflow.
Work with Dataplex for data governance, discovery, and management.
Implement and support Bigtable solutions for large-scale data workloads.
Work with Managed Kafka / Confluent Cloud for real-time data streaming and integration.
Integrate data platforms and services across Google Cloud Platform and Databricks environments.
Troubleshoot data pipeline, integration, and performance issues.

Infrastructure & Technical Delivery

Use Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and automation.
Support cloud infrastructure deployment and configuration.
Collaborate with engineering, architecture, security, and data teams to deliver technical solutions.
Identify technical risks, dependencies, and issues and proactively drive resolution.
Ensure adherence to cloud architecture and engineering best practices.

Customer & Stakeholder Collaboration

Work closely with customer and partner teams to understand requirements and technical challenges.
Act as a senior technical point of contact for data and cloud initiatives.
Proactively identify and address technical concerns.
Provide clear technical communication and recommendations to stakeholders.
Facilitate collaboration between customer, partner, architecture, and engineering teams.
Support technical discussions, issue resolution, and solution delivery.

Required Skills

Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
Strong expertise in BigQuery.
Strong experience with Dataflow.
Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform Architecture.
Experience with Dataplex.
Experience with Bigtable.
Experience with Managed Kafka / Confluent Cloud.
Strong experience with Terraform and infrastructure automation.
Strong Databricks knowledge and experience.
Senior-level experience in data engineering and cloud environments.
Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work effectively with customer and partner teams.
Ability to proactively identify and resolve technical concerns.
