The Opportunity

StaffRight Associates is seeking a visionary Lead Technical Program Manager for a client to spearhead transformative initiatives at the intersection of machine learning and computational biophysics. This is a high-visibility, permanent leadership role based in New York City where you will bridge the gap between cutting-edge ML research and life-changing drug discovery.

You will be instrumental in guiding elite teams of researchers and engineers as they deploy sophisticated algorithms to decode molecular behaviors and accelerate the development of next-generation therapeutics. What You’ll Do

  • Architect and oversee the end-to-end execution of complex machine learning workflows, including generative modeling for molecular design and predictive analytics for chemical properties.

  • Synchronize cross-functional efforts between ML scientists and software engineers to advance 3D structural biology and Large Language Model (LLM) integration within the chemical sciences.

  • Cultivate and manage strategic partnerships with external vendors and data providers to ensure a continuous pipeline of high-quality scientific datasets.

  • Navigate organizational risk and infrastructure scaling by collaborating directly with executive leadership to prioritize mission-critical research objectives.

  • Catalyze the development of novel simulation techniques that leverage both bespoke supercomputing clusters and high-performance hardware.

  • Facilitate a high-energy, collaborative culture that emphasizes technical excellence and iterative breakthroughs in automated drug discovery.


What You Bring
