Our Team is lacking NCR & Point Of Sale (POS) experience
Retail, Grocery or Restaurant Industry experience is required for this role.
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of hands-on Java development experience; Java 11, 17, or 21 strongly preferred.
- Deep proficiency in the Spring Framework ecosystem, including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, and Spring Security.
- Proven experience designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices architectures at enterprise scale.
- Solid grounding in OOP principles, software design patterns, and SOLID design principles.
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL) including writing complex, optimized SQL queries.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency with version control systems such as Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
- Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or comparable tooling.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and verbal/written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote or hybrid contract engagement.
- Experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
- Familiarity with message broker technologies such as Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Experience with NoSQL databases including MongoDB, Redis, or Amazon DynamoDB.
- Knowledge of API gateway tools and service mesh solutions (e.g., Kong, Istio).
- Exposure to front-end technologies such as Angular or React is a plus.
- Relevant industry certifications, such as Oracle Java SE Certified Professional, AWS Certified Developer, or equivalent.
