  • Identifies and drives continuous improvement opportunities across technical standards, tools, and delivery methodologies.
  • Contributes hands-on to development activities, producing well-structured, maintainable code supported by automated testing and modern development practices.
  • Enhances team productivity through collaboration, reuse of frameworks, and adoption of scalable engineering patterns and tooling.
  • Ensures compliance with IT and Information Security policies, validating that deliverables meet required standards and contributing to ongoing policy enhancements.
  • Applies broad understanding of business functions (front, middle, and back office) and external partners to design solutions that enable efficient, controlled business processes.
  • Participates in special projects and additional responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of relevant experience, including 5+ years of hands-on development.
  • Strong proficiency in Java and Python.
  • Experience designing and building cloud-native solutions on AWS.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and distributed systems.
  • Familiarity with event-driven architectures (Kafka or similar).
  • Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and production support capabilities.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with GraphQL Supergraph / federation architectures.
  • Experience modernizing legacy Java/JSF applications.
  • Familiarity with domain-driven design (DDD).
  • Experience supporting enterprise platform modernization initiatives.
  • Knowledge of Workplace Technology ecosystems and tools.

Current Role-Specific Scope:
  • Build and lead development of domain services and APIs using Java and Python.
  • Architect cloud-native solutions on AWS (ECS, Lambda, DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, SQS, SNS, S3).
  • Design and implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs, including Supergraph/federation patterns.
  • Develop event-driven systems using Kafka Streams.
  • Integrate with enterprise data platforms (Attunity, Qlik, DB2).
