Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer with strong expertise in VxWorks and bootloader development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, and optimizing low-level embedded software for high-performance, real-time systems.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain embedded software using VxWorks RTOS
Develop and customize bootloaders (e.g., U-Boot or proprietary bootloaders)
Work on Board Support Package (BSP) development and hardware bring-up
Interface directly with hardware teams for system-level integration
Develop and debug device drivers and low-level firmware components
Optimize system performance, memory usage, and boot time
Perform debugging using tools like JTAG, GDB, and oscilloscopes
Troubleshoot system issues and perform root cause analysis (RCA)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, QA, systems)
Maintain documentation including design specs, test cases, and user guides

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong experience with VxWorks (Wind River RTOS)
Hands-on experience with bootloader development (U-Boot or similar)
Proficiency in C/C++ programming
Strong understanding of embedded systems architecture
Experience with Linux/Unix environments
Knowledge of hardware interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART, PCIe, Ethernet)
Experience with BSP and device driver development
Familiarity with debugging tools (JTAG, GDB)
