Epic ClinDoc Analyst

Location: Columbus, OH

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Onsite 1 day per week; additional onsite days for training/operations as needed)

Employment Type: Contract

Interview Mode: Online via Microsoft Teams

Compliance: Must maintain high-speed internet at remote location during working hours.

System Build & Design: Configure and maintain Epic ClinDoc tools including flowsheets, SmartForms, navigators, notes, and templates.

Workflow Optimization: Partner with nursing and provider teams to translate clinical operational needs into technical system solutions.

Maintenance & Support: Troubleshoot "break/fix" issues to minimize clinical workflow disruption and participate in governance committees.

Testing & Implementation: Develop test scripts, lead integrated testing, and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system upgrades.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all clinical documentation standards align with CMS and Joint Commission requirements.

Documentation: Maintain detailed records of build decisions, change control processes, and clinical workflows.

Certification: Epic Clinical Documentation (ClinDoc) Certification (must be active and in good standing).

Healthcare Experience: Proven track record supporting Epic applications within a professional healthcare environment.

Clinical Knowledge: Deep understanding of clinical workflows, with a specific focus on nursing documentation.

Technical Proficiency: Experience with system optimization, governance processes, and change control.

Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills to resolve complex application issues and optimize feature implementation.

Module Expertise: Experience with related Epic applications such as Behavioral Health or Case Management.

Data & Reporting: Familiarity with reporting tools like Reporting Workbench or Clarity.

Implementation: Previous experience leading new feature rollouts or large-scale system upgrades.
