Job Summary:
Responsibilities:
- Lead the software testing efforts, including planning, execution, and reporting of testing activities.
- Develop and implement test strategies and test plans that align with project requirements and timelines.
- Utilize Playwright to create, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for web applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools, ensuring timely resolution.
- Conduct regular reviews of test cases and test results to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Mentor and guide junior testers in best practices for software testing and automation.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in software testing and automation tools.
Mandatory Skills:
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Playwright for automated testing.
- Proficiency in writing and executing test cases, both manual and automated.
- Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems.
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with other testing frameworks and tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
- Experience in performance testing and security testing.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) are a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to lead testing efforts and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
