Within LM Space, the Fishhooks Program is looking for a highly motivated individual to join the program area as a Software Engineer Senior Staff to support the development team. As part of an Agile team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of tasks in various areas across the mission and collaborate with the development teams, customers, and subject matter experts.

In this position you will:
Collaborate with an exceptional team of Software Engineers implementing solutions and developing new features for an RPO mission planning, scheduling, and command and control application.
Serve as a software developer on an Agile team tasked with developing cutting edge web applications within multiple classification domains to serve an emerging area of protecting USG space assets.
Participate in daily scrums, software sprint/release planning, demos, and retrospectives.
Design, develop & demonstrate software capabilities to both internal and external partners.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, such as Computer Science, Software Engineering or other engineering disciplines or equivalent experience
Experience in software development using programming or scripting languages such as C#, JavaScript, Java, or Python
Software design, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills
This position requires an Active DOD Security Clearance to begin employment, at a minimum level of: Top Secret with active SCI
Experience working in an Agile development environment, using tools such as Jira and Confluence
Desired skills
Full development lifecycle experience
Experience with the frameworks .NET Core and Angular
Experience working as a member of an Agile Scrum or Kanban team
Experience with databases (PostgreSQL & Redis)
Experience with GitLab CI/CD - Deployment pipelines, automated build, and/or configuration tools
Experience will cloud native development (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm)
Familiarity with Mission Planning software applications for satellites, antennas, and ground hardware assets
Familiarity with proximity operations, & satellite mission planning
Experience with LM's Conductor or Compass products
Experience with DevSecOps
Experience with Git, JIRA, Confluence
Ability to communicate effectively and work in a collaborative environment
Familiarity with the Space Domain
Knowledge of Orbital dynamics
Experience producing quality documentation
Ability to obtain/maintain a TS/SCI clearance; ship is required (no clearance is required to start; unclassified work is available until the clearance is obtained)

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $113,900 - $200,905. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Premium Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $131,000 - $227,125. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
