Job Title: Analytics Specialist
Contract: 12-month contract (with potential for extension)
Location: Toronto or Montreal (Hybrid - 3 flexible days in office per week)

About the Role
Our client is seeking a Channel Analytics Specialist to support the continued growth of its Marketing Technology and Analytics team. This role is designed to provide additional analytics capacity and expertise as new data sources and systems are integrated across the organization.
This is a hands-on analytics role that blends technical data expertise with strong business and communication skills. The successful candidate will go beyond reporting to uncover insights, understand performance drivers, and support data-informed decision-making across marketing channels.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze and interpret performance across digital and omnichannel initiatives, including email, web, and app channels
Support campaign performance analysis, attribution, and optimization opportunities
Build, maintain, and enhance dashboards and reporting to support business teams
Conduct ad hoc analyses to answer business questions and uncover actionable insights
Translate complex data into clear, compelling insights for non-technical stakeholders
Partner with cross-functional teams including brand, loyalty, and marketing to support ongoing initiatives
Investigate trends, anomalies, and performance drivers by asking "why," not just reporting "what"
Streamline documentation and ensure insights are grounded in accurate, reliable data
Contribute to the evolution of analytics practices as the team grows and matures
Required Qualifications
Bilingual - English and French is mandatory
3-5 years of experience in data analytics, digital analytics, or marketing analytics
Strong experience in digital and omnichannel analytics
Hands-on technical experience with:
- GA4
- Marketing Cloud Intelligence (MCI) or similar dashboarding tools
Experience with Google Tag Manager and back-end tracking concepts
Solid understanding of relational databases and data structures
Proven ability to analyze data with an investigative and curious mindset
Strong communication skills with the ability to present insights clearly and confidently
Comfortable working with multiple business stakeholders and translating data into business value

This is a Contract position based out of Mississauga, ON.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
