Project Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Houston, TX that is seeking a Project Analyst.

Key Responsibilities:
* Project Analyst will assist in managing project timelines, milestones, and resource allocation using Smartsheet and other project management tools
* Monitor and track project progress, identifying any potential issues or delays and escalating as necessary
* Provide regular reports and dashboards to stakeholders on project performance, status, and key metrics
* Analyze project data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement
* Support project planning efforts by gathering and organizing project requirements, schedules, and resources
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution and that all deliverables are met within scope and deadlines
* Utilize Workday to track project-related HR activities, including resource allocation, staffing, and timesheets
* Assist in maintaining and updating project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and post-project evaluations
* As a Project Analyst, you will ensure that Smartsheet and Workday systems are kept up to date with accurate project and workforce data
* Participate in project meetings, taking detailed notes and tracking action items to ensure follow-up and timely resolution
* Support the project management team with ad-hoc analysis and reporting as required

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
* 2+ years of experience as a Project Analyst or in a similar role, with a focus on project tracking and analysis
* Strong experience using Smartsheet for project management and reporting
* Familiarity with Workday for managing HR-related aspects of projects (such as resource allocation and workforce planning)
* Solid understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and other advanced functions) and other data analysis tools
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate complex data in a clear and concise manner
* Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
