Description:
Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Davenport, IA
Duration: 12 months with possible extension

Your Responsibilities

Partner with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost
Lead and execute small-scale capital improvement projects
Develop and maintain assembly layouts, labor standards, work methods, and operation sequences
Analyze, design, and implement new manufacturing processes and technologies
Provide day-to-day technical support and troubleshooting for assembly operations

Required Skills and Experience

1-3 years of experience in manufacturing processes, quality systems, tooling, preventive maintenance, or facilities support
Hands-on experience with engineering tools and manufacturing execution systems
Proven ability to lead and implement projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Strong communication skills across operators, peers, and leadership
Highly self-driven with the ability to work independently and execute with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology, or equivalent relevant work experience
(Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering preferred)
Strong ownership mentality with consistent follow-through and accountability
Ability to foster a positive, engaged, and collaborative team environment
Background in vehicle diagnostics and repair
Demonstrated experience identifying and implementing cost reduction, quality, safety, and ergonomic improvements for ADT assembly operations
