Job DescriptionThe Senior Agile Project Manager role is responsible for supporting the Agile Project Management team in delivering high-quality technology projects using agile methodologies. The incumbent has knowledge and experience with agile principles, practices, and frameworks such as SAFe. Additionally, the incumbent will work closely with key stakeholders across the organization, including business teams, product owners, and technical teams to support the development and implementation of new applications, software, or systems. The incumbent supports the execution of various software development projects, including planning, scheduling, executing, and closing projects. Their responsibilities include facilitating agile ceremonies, monitoring scrum or kanban processes and meetings, managing project risks and issues, and ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. The incumbent will help foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and innovation within the team, to drive the organization towards achieving its strategic objectives. Additionally, this role requires excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities - Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of technology or data projects using Agile methodologies
- Collaborate with Agile Project Managers and/or Product Management stakeholders, and provide guidance on Agile principles and practices
- Establish and maintain project management best practices, such as scope management, resource management, risk management, and change management
- Create project plans, timelines, and budgets, and ensure project delivery within these constraints
- Identify and resolve project risks and issues that may impact the project timeline or budget
- Provide technical guidance and liaise with technical teams to ensure project requirements are met as defined in acceptance criteria, definition of done, and definition of ready
- Facilitate Agile practices, such as PI Planning, Project Estimation, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project success and manage stakeholder expectations
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and continuous improvement of project delivery processes
- Communicate project progress and status updates to technical and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
QualificationsEDUCATIONRequired - Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or in lieu of a degree, at least 7 years of experience in the field of Project Management or Information Technology
Preferred - Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), and/or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCERequired - 4-6 years of IT and/or business experience and hands-on experience managing agile IT projects
- Experience managing software development projects using Agile methodologies
- Experience in a leadership role, such as a team lead, Scrum Master, or Product Owner
- In-depth knowledge of Agile practices and tools, such as PI Planning, defining acceptance criteria, and automated testing
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders and vice versa
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams, such as UX designers, developers, testers, QA analysts, and business analysts

- Experience applying agile principles and values within a shared service support/infrastructure team.
- Experience with enterprise data tools and platforms such as PowerBI, MicroStrategy, Tableau, Informatica, Fivetran, Semarchy, Collibra, Databricks or Snowflake.
- Understanding of cloud and containerization technologies, cloud-native development and cloud integration patterns.
- Familiarity with cyber & data security concepts including identity and access management, privileged account management, network security, application security, zero-trust architectures.
