BA / PM / Engagement Manager

Location: Houston, Texas (Onsite)

Schedule: Position is a Part-Time Need to start, but expected to ramp up to full-time hours down the line

Hours: 2 days onsite, 1/2 day remote (20 hour work week)

Length: 6+ Month Contract W2

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic, client-facing Business Analyst / Technical Project Manager to lead and expand a strategic data and analytics engagement. This individual will serve as the primary bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams. This role combines program leadership, solution advisory, stakeholder management, and business development, with an emphasis on Databricks-based data platforms and marketing analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery of a Databricks-based marketing analytics platform on Azure, including data ingestion, transformation, and dashboarding initiatives.
  • Manage project plans, timelines, risks, and dependencies across multiple workstreams.
  • Lead agile ceremonies and tracking within Azure DevOps (ADO) in alignment with client frameworks.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including data engineers, architects, and delivery leadership.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, translating business needs into technical solutions.
  • Gather and refine requirements across marketing, communications, and analytics domains.
  • Facilitate workshops, working sessions, and executive-level updates to drive alignment on priorities.
  • Identify opportunities to expand scope and actively support the growth of our capabilities within the engagement.
  • Collaborate with technology partners to organize workshops, drive innovation initiatives, and introduce new capabilities.
  • Build client-facing materials, including executive readouts, roadmaps, and solution overviews.
  • Provide oversight for consulting team members and foster a collaborative team culture.
Required Qualifications
  • PMP or Business Analyst (BA) certification.
  • A college degree.
  • Demonstrated background in upselling, preferably in a consulting environment.
  • Experience gathering detailed technical requirements across various solution areas.
  • Experience working with technical sales teams and in the delivery of projects.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Databricks, Delta Lake, or modern data lakehouse architectures.
  • Exposure to marketing analytics, digital channels, or data-driven communications platforms.
  • Background in solution selling or pre-sales within a consulting organization.
  • Experience coordinating with global or offshore delivery teams.
