Sr. Software .NET Engineer - AWS, API - 67300
We have an immediate long-term opportunity with one of our prime clients for a position of Sr. Software .NET Engineer to work on Remote basis.
Pay Rate: $65 - $70/hr
Must Haves:
- AWS
- API Gateway
- C#
- Terraform
- IAC
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience developing large scale, multi-tier, full stack enterprise applications
- Strong experience with back end technologies including C#, ASP.NET, and REST APIs
- Hands-on experience building and deploying applications in AWS Cloud Native environments
- Experience with AWS services such as API Gateway, Lambda, EC2, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.
- Experience working with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools-Terraform required, CloudFormation preferred
- Ability to analyze and optimize application performance within cloud environments
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and implement cloud native applications leveraging AWS services and modern application frameworks
- Develop high quality C# and .NET back end services and serverless components
- Build, deploy, and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate them with AWS API Gateway
- Create and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) through Terraform and AWS CloudFormation
- Assist in reviewing and optimizing existing application architectures for performance, scalability, and cloud efficiency
- Collaborate with analysts, designers, cloud engineers, and system owners to test and deploy new application features
- Analyze and prioritize front end and back end development tasks for in progress applications
- Create and maintain technical documentation for newly developed or modernized systems
- Support modernization strategies and contribute to the enhancement or migration of legacy systems into cloud native architectures
- Conduct research and provide recommendations on emerging cloud services, tools, and development methodologies
- Maintain ongoing education in cloud technologies, application frameworks, DevOps practices, and software development tools
