Payment Architect

Role 1: Payment Architect (Payments Platform) Location: Miami, FL Onsite (5 days/week)

Overview:
Lead enterprise payment architecture strategy and execution, aligning technology solutions with business objectives. Oversee both application and infrastructure architecture to support current and future-state payment capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement enterprise payment solutions aligned with business strategy.
• Lead architecture across multiple applications and technologies.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards and future-state roadmap.
• Evaluate, select, and integrate payment technologies and platforms.
• Monitor and modernize existing systems to address gaps and technology risks.
• Define architecture standards, patterns, and governance.
• Collaborate with PMO, application architects, and infrastructure teams.
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations (BSA, USA PATRIOT Act).

Required Experience:

• 15+ years in Banking, with strong Payment Solutions expertise.
• Experience with ACH, Wire (mandatory), RTP (mandatory), SWIFT, ISO 20022.
• Knowledge of real-time payment platforms (Fiserv preferred).
• Integration experience with Plaid, Venmo, and/or Zelle.
• Strong background in cloud (AWS preferred), microservices, APIs (REST/SOAP), messaging, databases (SQL/NoSQL), OLTP/OLAP.
• Experience with enterprise architecture tools (BizzDesign, Lucid, Archi).
• Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM (SAFe preferred).

Preferred Certifications:
CISSP, CISA, TOGAF, CISM, GIAC.
