The contractor will be responsible for: - Developing robust automation workflows to support platform configuration, policy updates, and operational tasks.
- Proven experience in designing, developing, and implementing application integrations using RESTful and/or SOAP APIs, including authentication mechanisms (OAuth, JWT), data transformation, and error handling.
- Strong ability to work with API documentation, create secure and scalable endpoints, and integrate third-party services or internal systems.
- Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Swagger) and best practices for performance optimization and security compliance.
- Building integrations within management Python scripts and Ansible playbooks to interact with external systems (e.g., HashiCorp Vault).
- Creating custom tooling to simplify administrative processes and reduce manual effort for day-to-day platform operations.
- Collaborating with internal teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable automation solutions.
- Documenting automation architecture, processes, and usage guidelines to ensure maintainability and knowledge transfer.
- Troubleshooting and optimizing automation scripts for performance and reliability.
