Job Summary

As a DevOps Engineer you will provide mission critical system support to our customer. This role will closely work Development as well as other technology stakeholders to maintain, develop and support IC enterprise product. The DevOps Engineer will work collaboratively with software engineering to deploy and operate systems. This role will help automate and streamline operations and processes. Assist with building and maintaining tools for deployment, monitoring and operations, while assisting with troubleshooting and resolving issues in the dev, test, and production environments.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Supports software deployments, cloud infrastructure baselines, and operational availability of production systems.
  • Assist with building, configuring, administering, operating and maintaining all components that comprise the DevOps environment.
  • Assist with defining enterprise Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment processes and best practices
  • Developing and maintaining scripts to automate tool deployment to an AWS cloud environment and other tasks.
  • Scripting and maintaining build environments.
  • Working with project teams to integrate their products into the DevOps environment.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Familiar with setting up one or more of the following tools: GitHub, Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, and Katalon Studio.
  • Familiar with troubleshooting issues with two or more of the following tools: GitHub, Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, and Katalon Studio.
  • Experience working within a software development team and supporting developers and developer activities.
  • Candidate must have an active TS/SCI with polygraph.
  • BS degree and <2 years of experience. Additional years of experience may be substituted, in lieu of a degree.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • AWS Associate Certification (Developer, Solution Architect, or Sys Ops Administrator)
  • AWS Professional Certification (DevOps Engineer or Solutions Architect)
  • Experience in container orchestration using Docker, Vagrant, Kubernetes, or AWS ECS/ECR
  • Experience with Languages including Java, Python, JavaScript, Ruby, PHP, and Unix shell Scripting
  • Experience with Ansible, or Puppet.
