Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer with mandatory hands-on expertise in Backstage Developer Portal development and customization. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in Java, React, Angular, and AWS, along with experience in full software development lifecycle activities, system design, application development, testing, and production support.
The candidate will contribute to building and enhancing internal developer platforms, improving developer experience, and delivering scalable cloud-native applications.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, customize, and maintain Backstage Developer Portal solutions.
- Build and enhance application features using Java, React, and Angular.
- Develop scalable and maintainable software solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
- Design and integrate REST APIs and microservices.
- Develop and support cloud-native applications using AWS services.
- Participate in system design, coding, testing, deployment, and application maintenance.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and follow DevOps best practices.
- Troubleshoot application issues and provide ongoing technical support.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, DevOps engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Improve developer experience through portal enhancements, integrations, and automation.
- Follow coding standards, security guidelines, and software development best practices.
- Contribute to code reviews, technical documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of software development experience.
- Mandatory hands-on experience with Backstage Developer Portal development.
- Strong programming experience in Java.
- Experience developing frontend applications using React.js and Angular.
- Experience with AWS cloud services and cloud-native application development.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, system design, application development, testing, and support.
- Experience with REST APIs, application integration, and software architecture.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Previous end-client experience is mandatory.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Experience implementing and customizing enterprise developer portals.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation.
- AWS or other relevant professional certifications.
- Experience improving developer productivity through platform engineering.
