Position: Mechanical Engineer

Mechanical Engineer Overview:

- Leverage Digital Tools to Architect full electric powertrain configurations across diverse machine platforms, coordinating deliverables and timing for virtual, lab, and testbed demonstrators.

- Collaborate with product architecture leaders to develop optimized ePowertrain power-path concepts integrating electric machines, power sources, power conversion/distribution, and electro-mechanical-hydraulic systems

Education Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

Preferred Education:

- Master's degree or PhD in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

Required Skills for the Mechanical Engineer:

- CAE Software: Matlab/Simulink/Simscape/Simcenter/Ansys

- Python coding

- Effective Communication

- Emotional Intelligence

- Self-Starter

Responsibilities:

- Build and deploy scalable subsystem/component models for power electronics, electric machines, power sources, brakes, and advanced electro-mechanical transmissions to guide product strategy.

- Refine or synthesize new electric powertrain designs using strong engineering fundamentals and first-principles analysis
