We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Health Cloud Technical Lead to drive the design, development, and delivery of enterprise Salesforce solutions supporting large-scale healthcare transformation initiatives.
This individual will provide technical leadership across the full software development lifecycle while partnering closely with business, product, architecture, security, and data teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical leadership with a collaborative approach, balancing hands-on solution architecture with the ability to mentor development teams and guide enterprise technology decisions.

Manager's Notes

• This is a true Technical Lead role. While the individual should be capable of hands-on development, the primary responsibility is providing technical leadership, guiding engineering teams, and driving technical direction. 
• Strong communication skills are critical. This person will regularly interact with business stakeholders, enterprise architecture, product teams, and Salesforce directly. 
• The Tech Lead will serve as the primary technical point of contact with Salesforce. Salesforce frequently introduces new products, capabilities, and platform enhancements. This individual must be able to evaluate recommendations objectively, determine whether they align with business needs, and avoid unnecessary platform expansion or product adoption.
• The ideal candidate is comfortable building Proofs of Concept (POCs) when evaluating new Salesforce capabilities. They should be able to validate technical feasibility, assess business value, and present recommendations to leadership for informed decision-making.
• Although this is a leadership position, the candidate should remain technically hands-on. They should be willing to write code when necessary, particularly for complex implementations, production support, troubleshooting, or developing POCs. This is not a people manager who is removed from the technology.

Must Haves: 

• 13+ years of Salesforce experience leading enterprise-scale implementations and delivery teams.
• Deep expertise in Salesforce Health Cloud; Data Cloud experience strongly preferred.
• Salesforce Platform Developer I certification required; additional Salesforce certifications preferred (PD II, Architect, Agentforce Specialist).
• Experience supporting healthcare or health insurance organizations.

Strong hands-on expertise with:

• Apex, SOQL/SOSL
• Lightning Web Components (LWC)
• Salesforce Flow and Platform Automation
• Service Cloud and Health Cloud
• REST APIs and Salesforce integrations
• FHIR/HL7 integrations,
• event-driven architecture (Kafka)
• Data Cloud experience preferred
• Experience building Agentforce solutions and AI-powered agents.
• Experience with Salesforce DevOps and CI/CD tools (Git, AutoRABIT/Copado, Salesforce CLI).
• Strong healthcare payer/provider domain knowledge, including claims, case management, or workflow automation.
• Experience leading Agile/SAFe teams across onshore and offshore delivery models.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

Nice to Haves:

• Experience delivering enterprise digital transformation initiatives.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled Salesforce capabilities and modern platform innovations.
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments and collaborating across multiple technology organizations.
