Summary

Day-to-day responsibilities:
• Industrial Work Technician – production devices – PCS, Cameras, scanners, make production possible – IP addresses, Windows, office, production environment (good with heights, productions critical role. Weekend and holiday work required (manager wants this to not be a surprise to the candidate when interviewing- Most important work time when the plant is shut down. Some occasional work after hours.
• Half of the role (industrial workspace devices) and the other half (IT Delivery Manager)– make people happy. Escalate issues – if things aren’t functioning correctly. Customer escalations.
Top skills:
a. Customer Support is important – conflict resolution. How to handle different types of people.
b. Sectional planning - looking for quality to hire internally.
Must Haves:
- Technical skill sets – need to be expert in hardware and software platforms.
- Have someone that is solution oriented. Can find the solution themselves.
- Understanding of Agile Mythology – JIRA (no master but familiar in tools)

Key areas he is looking for include:

Senior-level technician experience with the ability to work independently and take ownership.
Manufacturing experience (strongly preferred).
Agile and/or project management experience.
Experience leading or supporting projects in industrial/manufacturing environments, such as Windows migrations, thin/thick client troubleshooting and deployments, hardware refreshes, and technology rollouts.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to organize, interpret, and leverage data effectively.
Demonstrated leadership, initiative, and the ability to drive projects and tasks to completion.

Primary work week is Monday - Friday.
Occasional overtime, weekend and holiday work are required.
Role is primarily onsite: 70–80% at Plant Spartanburg (Greer) and the remainder at the IT Research Center (Greenville). Workfromhome permitted only for illness or special circumstances.
