The Motion & Interaction team designs and delivers intuitive customer experiences through motion sensing. When you simply raise your wrist, shake your head, or move your device to interact, it's the work of engineers and scientists on this team. We are seeking a dedicated, self-motivated software engineer to build Apple's next-generation sensor fusion technologies and interactive experiences! This role involves developing and optimizing embedded algorithms and APIs, with an emphasis on power, memory, and real-time performance. You will work closely with scientists, engineers, project managers, and designers throughout the product lifecycle, working towards the best possible customer experience.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, EECS, or equivalent experience\nSolid understanding of algorithm design and data structures\nStrong and intuitive understanding of object-oriented design
Results-oriented, with a proven ability to effectively prioritize and deliver tasks on schedule\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills\nStrong proficiency in C++\nExperience delivering production code for embedded or real-time systems\nExperience designing and implementing interfaces between algorithms, software, and firmware\nStrong product sense, including the ability to balance technical feasibility with user experience
