We are seeking a Senior Electronics Test Engineer for a direct hire opportunity in Livermore, CA. This is a highly hands-on engineering role focused on developing, validating, and sustaining automated production and repair test solutions for legacy embedded electronic systems and board-level computing products.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced electronics test engineer who enjoys deep technical problem-solving, board-level troubleshooting, systems integration, and rebuilding test capability where OEM documentation may be limited or unavailable. You will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, operations, and quality teams in a collaborative environment where technical expertise directly supports long-term product sustainment and customer success.

The Senior Electronics Test Engineer will play a key role in strengthening manufacturing readiness, improving test coverage, supporting product transfers, and ensuring reliable repair and production capability for complex embedded electronics. This is a strong fit for someone who values technical ownership, stable long-term product support, supportive leadership, and the opportunity to work with specialized embedded systems across multiple platforms and operating environments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, validate, and deploy automated production and repair test systems for embedded electronic products.
- Create test software and supporting tools using C, C++, LabVIEW, JTAG, boundary scan, and related technologies.
- Troubleshoot embedded processor boards, printed circuit board assemblies, analog circuits, and digital circuits at the board and component level.
- Support migration of products from OEM production environments into internal manufacturing and repair operations.
- Rebuild, validate, and sustain test capability when schematics, documentation, or original test assets are incomplete.
- Partner with engineering, manufacturing, quality, operations, sales, and business development teams on technical evaluations, product acquisitions, root-cause analysis, and production support.

Compensation and Benefits:

- Salary range: $173,000 to $178,000 per year.
- Job type: Direct hire.
- Location: Livermore, CA.
