Job Purpose: The DBA team is responsible for ensuring the application and processing architectures, data dictionaries, and database schemas meet the department standards for data requirements. The candidate in this position will be responsible for assisting in the design, development, amendments and optimization of the schema to meet system(s) requirements. The candidate must be able to understand and demonstrate the ability to develop database and warehousing design across multiple platforms and computing environments. The candidate must be able to work as part of a team to assist in developing an overall data architecture that supports the Department s needs and meets Department and Agency for State Technology (AST) security standards. Qualifications Education - Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience. Required Experience This position requires the following experience and/or knowledge: The candidate must have skill and 15 years combined experience in database administration 1. DB2 for z/OS 2. SQL Server 2008R2, 2012 3. Oracle 10g and above 4. Experience with the FDOT integrated database infrastructure is a plus. 5. Knowledge of the FDOT Financial Management applications is a plus. 6. Knowledge of the FDOT integrated application environment is a plus Job Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 1.
