Data Center Project Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Program Manager Data Center Operations to support data center operations and infrastructure initiatives for a leading investment banking organization in New York City.

The ideal candidate will be a senior-level project/program management professional with 12+ years of overall project/program management experience and a strong background specifically managing data center operations and infrastructure programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex data center operations and infrastructure programs from initiation through completion.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute data center projects while ensuring alignment with business and technology objectives.
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, resources, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Coordinate with data center operations, infrastructure, engineering, technology, facilities, vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, status reports, dashboards, and executive-level communications.
• Identify and mitigate program risks and proactively resolve issues and dependencies.
• Manage multiple workstreams and ensure successful delivery within established timelines and budgets.
• Coordinate data center migrations, upgrades, expansions, installations, decommissions, or other operational initiatives as required.
• Provide regular updates to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to organizational processes, standards, controls, and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of overall experience in Project Management / Program Management.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience managing data center operations projects or programs.
• Must have strictly relevant Data Center Operations experience as a Project Manager or Program Manager.
• Strong experience managing large-scale data center infrastructure and operational initiatives.
• Experience working with cross-functional technical and business teams.
• Proven ability to manage complex programs involving multiple stakeholders and workstreams.
• Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in financial services, investment banking, or other highly regulated environments is strongly preferred.
• PMP, PgMP, or similar project/program management certification is a plus.
