We are looking for a Senior Laboratory Technician for our client in Indianapolis, IN

Job Description:

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Associate degree in a science-related field; Bachelor s degree preferred.
  • General knowledge of mass spectrometry, liquid chromatography, and associated software.
  • Experience managing routine instrument maintenance and upkeep.
  • Ability to work effectively in a regulated, fast-paced, and time-sensitive laboratory environment.
  • Strong documentation skills with attention to detail.
Experience:
  • Hands-on analytical laboratory experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting LC-MS/MS and GC-MS/MS systems.
  • Experience with instrument maintenance, validation, and performance verification.
  • Experience with computer systems validation preferred.
  • Experience preparing standard solutions and quantitative weighings preferred.
  • Experience with quantitative LC-MS/MS analysis of small molecules preferred.
  • Understanding of Good Laboratory Practice regulations preferred.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage routine maintenance of laboratory instrumentation including LC-MS/MS, GC-MS/MS, pipettes, evaporators, and sample preparation equipment.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for repair, upgrades, and maintenance activities.
  • Assist with software upgrade initiatives and validation activities.
  • Order laboratory supplies and support method development activities.
  • Perform routine lab support tasks including equipment validation, instrument cleaning, performance verification, and batch setup.
  • Prepare mobile phases and standard solutions as required.
  • Maintain accurate, complete, and compliant documentation of all activities.
  • Follow laboratory safety procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Support GLP-related documentation and compliance activities.
Should Have:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with R&D, regulatory, and technical teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining compliance standards.
Skills:
  • Analytical instrumentation maintenance and validation.
  • LC-MS/MS and GC-MS/MS operation support.
  • Laboratory documentation and regulatory compliance.
  • Vendor coordination and project support.
  • Quantitative analysis and solution preparation.
Qualification and Education:
  • An associate degree in a science-related field is required.
  • Bachelor s degree preferred.
