Quality Assurance Analyst

📍 Tallahassee, FL (Hybrid, MUST reside in Florida)

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst with strong experience in software testing, database validation, and enterprise application support. This role will support large-scale IT initiatives by ensuring software quality, validating business and technical requirements, and assisting with testing processes across enterprise systems.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with manual and automated testing, SQL Server database validation, test planning, and SDLC methodologies within complex enterprise environments.

Required Skills & Experience

3+ years of Quality Assurance, software testing, systems development, or related IT experience
Experience developing and executing:
- Test plans
- Test cases
- Test scripts
- Test scenarios
Experience with manual and automated testing methodologies
Experience testing applications in Microsoft SQL Server environments
Experience validating:
- Stored procedures
- Jobs
- Triggers
- Replication
- Test data
Experience reviewing functional and technical design specifications
Strong understanding of SDLC and QA best practices
Ability to translate technical requirements into test strategies and test cases
Experience collecting and analyzing testing metrics and QA data
Experience performing quality audits and validating compliance with standards and procedures
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks
Experience supporting enterprise or public-sector environments
Experience working in Agile or Hybrid development environments
Understanding of business processes and enterprise software solutions
Experience collaborating with developers, business analysts, and infrastructure teams

Responsibilities

Execute functional, regression, integration, and database testing activities
Develop and maintain QA documentation and testing artifacts
Validate software functionality against business and technical requirements
Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
Support automated testing initiatives and test execution efforts
Participate in requirements reviews, sprint activities, and project meetings
Assist with process improvement and QA standards enforcement
Ensure software deliverables meet quality and performance expectations
