About the Role

We are seeking an experienced  Manufacturing Application Support Engineer with a strong IT infrastructure and networking background to support manufacturing applications in a high-availability production environment. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting Windows Server environments, SQL databases, enterprise networking, and manufacturing systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

·  Support and troubleshoot manufacturing applications and related infrastructure.

·  Deploy and validate quarterly software releases.

·  Perform Windows Server patching and post-patch validation.

·  Administer Windows Server (2016+) and Windows 10/11 environments.

·  Troubleshoot application, server, database, and networking issues.

·  Support SQL Server databases and application connectivity.

·  Maintain IT compliance, cybersecurity, and access control standards.

·  Support change management and system validation activities.

·  Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, IT Infrastructure, Security, and Network teams.

·  Assist with process improvement and automation initiatives.

·  Support production environments during planned maintenance and occasional weekends.

Required Qualifications

·  Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.

·  3+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Application Support, Systems Engineering, or IT Infrastructure.

·  Experience with Windows Server 2016+ and Windows 10/11.

·  Experience supporting SQL Server databases.

·  Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs).

·  Experience troubleshooting enterprise applications.

·  Knowledge of Active Directory and account management.

·  Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

·  Ability to work with global teams.

Preferred Qualifications

·  Experience with .NET or C#.

·  Experience supporting manufacturing or industrial applications.

·  PLC I/O knowledge.

·  Industrial networking experience (EtherNet/IP, DeviceNet, ControlNet, FLNET).

·  Windows Server administration.

·  Project management experience.

·  Experience with cybersecurity compliance and change management.
