Together, you and your team will enable our customers to do all the things they love with their devices!\\n\\nThe GPU Silicon Validation Team is responsible for validating the functional operation, electrical behavior, power, and performance of Apple's embedded GPUs. Team members are involved in test planning, test execution, data analysis, failure triage, and tool development. We work hand-in-hand with the design, verification, productization, hardware and software teams to enable world-class GPUs in the embedded space. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of silicon validation tasks such as functional testing, silicon characterization, analyzing and reporting results, power and performance validation, and triaging complex hardware and software issues.

In this role you will: \n- Define, execute, and communicate plans to perform GPU functional and electrical testing.\n- Lead LVcc and margin analysis methodologies and tool development.\n- Architect validation methodologies for upcoming technology advances and product changes.\n- Identify and drive improvements in validation and debug methodology and tools.\n- Lead discussions with stakeholders on manufacturing test suites, debug, and improvements.\n- Lead fail triage and debug of underlying embedded GPU issues.\n- Learn and support all GPU silicon validation tasks.\n- Maintain, develop, and improve automation tools for validation and debug.\n- Configure system HW and SW for silicon validation.

BS + 10 years of relevant experience.\nPrevious silicon validation experience required. \nExperience in C/C++ and one or more of the following scripting languages: python, TCL/expect. \nExperience with system and SOC architectures. \nExperience with CPU or GPU architectures.

Experience with LVcc / margin analysis.\nExpertise with device physics and transistor behavior.\nExperience leading debug of hardware and software issues in an embedded system.\nExperience with performing electrical measurements.\nExperience with manufacturing test methodology.\nLeadership and/or mentoring experience in an engineering environment.\nExperience managing a validation project from planning through final execution.\nExperience with data collection and analysis using lab equipment.\nAbility to work well on a team in order to be productive under aggressive product schedules.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nExperience reading schematics.\nExperience performing performance and power measurements.
