Job Description

We are seeking an Enterprise Data Architect to design and drive modern enterprise data architecture initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with SQL Server, cloud data platforms, modern data architecture, and enterprise architecture governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop target-state data architectures, HLDs, and LLDs.
• Design modern cloud data solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Azure, or similar platforms.
• Develop Medallion Architecture and dimensional data models.
• Support enterprise data strategy, MDM, governance, and architecture standards.
• Participate in Architecture Review Boards (ARBs) and technical design reviews.
• Evaluate SaaS/ERP applications and provide architecture recommendations.
• Work closely with security and risk teams through architecture approvals.
• Partner with senior leadership, engineering teams, and business stakeholders.
• Create architecture standards, roadmaps, and technical documentation.

Required Skills

• Strong experience as an Enterprise/Data Architect.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server and cloud data platforms.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric or modern cloud data platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Medallion Architecture and dimensional modeling.
• Strong SQL and Python skills.
• Experience with MDM and data governance.
• Experience creating HLDs/LLDs and target-state architectures.
• Experience participating in ARBs, security reviews, and architecture governance.

Preferred Skills

• Azure Data Lake / ADLS Gen2
• Azure Data Factory or Azure Databricks
• Delta Lake / Lakehouse architecture
• Experience evaluating SaaS/ERP solutions before procurement.
• Strong executive and stakeholder communication skills.
