Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Automation CAD Drafter with strong AutoCAD Electrical skills to develop and maintain electrical schematics, control panel layouts, and wiring diagrams. The candidate must be able to interpret as-built drawings and create electrical drawings from scratch by reviewing existing control panels.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and modify electrical drawings using AutoCAD Electrical.
• Read and interpret as-built drawings, engineering specifications, and redlines.
• Review electrical control panels and develop drawings from scratch.
• Collaborate with engineers to implement design changes and updates.
• Maintain accurate drawings and ensure compliance with engineering standards.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical.
• Ability to read and interpret as-built electrical drawings.
• Experience creating electrical control panel drawings from scratch.
• Knowledge of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and automation systems.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma with at least 5 years of relevant drafting experience or completion of a drafting trade school program.
• Technical degree or relevant CAD certification preferred.
• Experience in electrical drafting, industrial automation, or control panel design is a plus.
