Summary

Razor is looking for a Junior Systems Engineer to support systems engineering activities for mission-critical U.S. Government systems. This role will assist with requirements analysis, system design, integration, testing, and technical documentation throughout the system lifecycle.

Education & Certification Requirements: Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Qualifying systems engineering experience may be substituted for the degree requirement where permitted.

Clearance Requirements: Active Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) clearance required for classified assignments. A full-scope polygraph may be required depending on the specific assignment and access requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Support systems engineering activities throughout the system lifecycle
  • Assist with defining and managing system requirements
  • Support system architecture, design, development, integration, and testing activities
  • Analyze user requirements and system capabilities
  • Assist with technical planning and system implementation activities
  • Support system integration and verification efforts
  • Develop and maintain systems engineering documentation
  • Participate in technical reviews and engineering meetings
  • Assist with identifying and resolving system-level technical issues
  • Collaborate with software, hardware, network, cybersecurity, and other engineering teams
  • Support analysis of system performance and operational requirements
  • Communicate technical findings and status to internal and Government stakeholders

Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting systems engineering activities in complex technical environments
  • Knowledge of systems engineering principles and lifecycle processes
  • Experience with requirements analysis and documentation
  • Understanding of system architecture, integration, testing, and verification
  • Ability to analyze technical requirements and system capabilities
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary engineering teams

Desired Skills:
  • Experience supporting DoD or Intelligence Community systems
  • Experience with requirements management tools
  • Familiarity with Agile development environments
  • Experience supporting system integration and testing
  • Experience supporting classified systems
