Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Model Building & Design: Design, build, test, and deploy complex Anaplan models, modules, lists, line items, calculations, dashboards, and User Experience (UX) pages aligned with Anaplan best practices (The Planual).

  • Requirements Gathering: Partner with cross-functional business units (Finance, Supply Chain, Sales Operations) to analyze business requirements and translate them into functional technical architectures.

  • Data Integration & ETL: Configure data integrations between Anaplan and external ERP/CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, Workday) using Anaplan Connect, CloudWorks, or ETL tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica).

  • Optimization & Performance Tuning: Optimize model performance, streamline logic, manage workspace consumption, and resolve calculation bottlenecks.

  • Maintenance & Support: Administer user security roles, selective access, structural updates, and version controls across Development, Test, and Production environments (ALM).

  • Documentation & Training: Maintain comprehensive documentation of system design, technical architectures, and data flows; conduct end-user training and post-implementation support.

  • Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Business Analytics, or a related field.

  • Anaplan Expertise: 3+ years of hands-on experience designing and building enterprise-level models in Anaplan.

  • Certification: Certified Anaplan Model Builder required; Certified Advanced Model Builder or Solution Architect preferred.

  • Data & Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in multidimensional modeling, complex logical functions, data transformations, and ETL processes.

  • Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial planning & analysis (FP&A), budgeting, forecasting, or supply chain processes.

  • Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving capabilities, clear communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced Agile team environment.
