Role Overview
Java centric Engineering Provide architectural and engineering oversight for Java Spring Boot microservices cloud native patterns and integration ecosystems d efficiency metricsnsformation initiatives including cloud migration microservices adoption platform engineering and automation

• Conduct architecture and solution assessments propose innovation accelerators reusable assets and automation frameworks
• Promote AI assisted engineering and productivity enablers in line with Virtusa's AI first direction
• Technical Expertise Java 11 17 Spring Boot Spring Cloud API Microservices event driven architecture
• Cloud AWS Azure Google Cloud Platform DevOps pipelines Jenkins GitHub Actions Argo K8s Architecture blueprints and NFR driven engineering
• Leadership Competencies Executive communication and negotiation
• Strategic storytelling and roadmap articulation
• Conflict resolution and stakeholder influence Strong analytical and decision making ability

Required Experience

• 20 to 25 years in technology delivery engineering leadership or program management
• Proven leadership across large scale enterprise Java programs distributed systems and modernization initiatives
• Experience handling large multi-million dollar engagements with distributed delivery models onsite offshore
• Demonstrated success in client facing leadership roles within IT services

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience delivering transformation in BFSI Healthcare Telecom or Tech domains
• Certifications Cloud Architect AWS Azure Google Cloud Platform SAFe Agilist Scrum Master PMP PRINCE2 optional but beneficial
• Experience leveraging GenAI for engineering productivity and delivery acceleration
