Description
We are seeking a Business/ Data Analyst with expertise in Microsoft Purview to join our Information Governance team. The ideal candidate will be proactive problem-solver, versed in the change request process and has the ability to tailor solutions to meet client-specific needs.
Key Responsibilities
Support the implementation and management of Microsoft Purview Information Protection solutions
Continuously evaluate and improve existing data protection measures in line with regulatory and organization requirements
Provide subject matter expertise and technical support on Microsoft Purview to assess, design and implement data governance solutions that align with client objectives.
Collaborate to develop strategies for controlled unclassified information and privacy compliance using Microsoft Purview.
Identify customer needs and requirements, recommend appropriate solutions, and proactively identify areas for improvement.
Execute consulting projects by creating and completing deliverables, ensuring client needs and practice obligations are met.
Participate in customer and internal meetings, providing technical guidance and facilitating discussions.
Stay educated on new product technologies, industry trends, and emerging capabilities within the practice.
Collaborate with stakeholders to assess change requests

Other requirements
Completed bachelor's degree or relevant work experience is required.
18 months experience working with large organizations on security engineering projects with deep technical knowledge of Microsoft Purview. Preferably within the federal government space.
**Experience with data mapping/architecture is preferred
***Security+ or equivalent certification required
****Must be able to pass a high-risk public trust background investigation

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Washington, DC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $46.25 - $48.07/hr.
