Help Desk Technician

Description
During the summer months, this team handles approximately 300-700 of tickets per day with a resolution rate of 60%. All other tickets are escalated to various IT support teams who support the 90+ companies in the district.
This person will be responsible for initial troubleshooting of an issue and must be able to thoroughly document their work in the ticketing system (they currently use HEAT). This person will see a wide variety of issues each day and should know basics like basic networking, troubleshooting a laptop or laser printer, troubleshooting browser issues, performing password resets etc.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
1) Strong customer support skills (via phone a plus)
2) IT degree; hands-on projects - Windows 10
3) Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
