Role Summary
Seeking a senior ETL Architect to design and modernize the enterprise data architecture supporting BI platforms such as MicroStrategy and Spark-based analytics environments. The architect will lead the restructuring of existing data pipelines, optimize Amazon Redshift data models, and establish scalable ETL frameworks that support reporting, commissions, incentives, and operational dashboards.
The role requires both deep technical expertise and architectural vision, ensuring that data structures, ETL processes, and reporting layers are designed for performance, scalability, and future AI-driven analytics capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement end-to-end ETL architecture supporting BI platforms such as MicroStrategy and Spark analytics environments.
  • Architect and optimize Amazon Redshift data warehouse structures, including schema design, data modeling, and performance tuning.
  • Develop and standardize SQL-based ETL pipelines, stored procedures, and data transformation processes.
  • Lead data restructuring initiatives, including redesigning existing tables, pipelines, and data packages.
  • Automate manual data workflows and improve overall data processing efficiency and governance.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and standardization across enterprise reporting systems.
  • Integrate multiple data sources supporting commission systems, incentive platforms, and operational dashboards.
  • Establish data architecture standards, best practices, and governance frameworks for ETL development.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and business logic, ensuring solutions align with operational needs.
  • Provide architectural leadership and mentorship to junior ETL developers.

Required Skills
  • Strong expertise in SQL development and optimization
  • Hands-on experience with Amazon Redshift
  • Development of complex stored procedures and data transformation logic
  • Experience designing enterprise-scale ETL pipelines
  • Data modeling for data warehouses and BI environments
  • Experience integrating data into BI platforms such as MicroStrategy
  • Familiarity with Spark-based analytics platforms
  • Strong understanding of data governance, architecture standards, and data lifecycle management

Preferred Capabilities
  • Experience modernizing legacy reporting environments
  • Exposure to AI/analytics integration opportunities
  • Ability to design systems supporting self-service BI and enterprise reporting
  • Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders and business users
